Best Desktop Computer

Welcome to our website. This is your source to find every bit of information on the best desktop computer and their accessories.

Are you looking to purchase the best desktop computer?  This website has all the information you need in deciding just which desktop computer you would like to purchase.  Because the PC business is everchanging, we will update this often.  Below you can find descriptions to help you decide just which is the best desktop computer for you.

The first desktop computer you will want to look at is the Vector GX.  It has several versions of it and it has been getting rave reviews.  It has about the same high end configuration of a best selling brand, with United States-based support to go on top of it.  One model, the Custom Home and Office PC, retails for around $1150 and it runs well, but if you are on a budget and don’t want to configure, spend only $800 and grab the Campus Edition Model.

If you are into Mac instead of PC, grab yourself the iMac.  In August, Apple completely overhauled their offerings, bringing four new models to show off.  While all four are great, it is the 2.4Ghz version that stands above all the rest.  It has done great in performance test when put against other Macs and some PCs.  The iMac is all in one, featuring an aluminum chassis that has not been painted.  It also features a glossy, glass-covered display.  Despite the fact that it has laptop technology, the model is faster than the MacBook.  The heart of the system is all covered behind the 20 inch LCD display, making it a great compact computer.  Prices start at around $1000.

Critics are abuzz about the TouchSmart IQ770 despite its limits.  It takes good advantages of the new features of Windows Vista Home Premium with the world’s first touchscreen PC.  It acts as a shortcut to media and family shortcuts.  You shouldn’t, however, replace your current computer with this due to the fact that it isn’t upgradeable and isn’t all that fast for performance.  It is more like an entertainment hub and message center.  But you do get a wireless keyboard and mouse, a video recorder, a built in webcam and microphone, and a remote control with a DVD burner.  Prices start at $1650.

For all of you PC gamers on a budget, critics recommend the Cyber Power Gamer Infinity 7500.  Retailing at about $945, it’s considerably less than all of its parts.  But don’t let that fool you – it has the same amount of power of the machines costing four times as much.  It is standard with a 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, a gig of RAM, a 256 MB RAM video card (GeForce), Vista Home Premium, a three year warranty, and your choice of six colors for the case.  However, critics recommend spending an extra $300 to upgrade the RAM and video card for the best experience.

While there are many others out there, these four computers fit the bill of the best desktop computer.  They all have their pros and cons and are reasonably priced, so feel free to choose which one is right for you.  You simply can’t go wrong with these.
